Abstract
Fixed drug eruption (FDE) is a specific drug-induced dermatosis with a characteristic recurrence at the same sites of the skin or mucous membrane. FDE is frequently associated to non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs exposure. This condition can mimic serious medical conditions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome when bullae are present.
We report a case of a 74-year-old woman, with a non-specified past cutaneous reaction to diclofenac, that developed generalized bullous fixed drug eruption caused by Naproxen.
