From pulmonary tuberculosis to meningitis: a revealing clinical case

Abstract

The case presents a 58-year-old man, originally from Pakistan, who presented to the emergency department with significant neurological symptoms. Through various imaging techniques and analysis of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), the diagnosis of tuberculous meningitis accompanied by tuberculomas was established, a rare but severe manifestation of tuberculosis.
