Abstract

Buschke's scleredema adultorum is a connective tissue disease of unclear etiology. Its diagnosis is primarily clinical but requires histopathological confirmation. The therapeutic approach is individualized and lacks standardized treatment protocols, posing a significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenge for clinicians. In this context, a multidisciplinary approach is essential to conduct a thorough differential diagnosis, given its similarity to other dermatological conditions.

The aim of this article is to present a clinical case of Buschke's scleredema, outlining the diagnostic process and the development of a personalized therapeutic plan. Representative images of the cutaneous involvement are included, with a literature review on this condition.
