Combined antifungal treatment in Candida albicans endocarditis in a elderly patient

Abstract

We attended a patient with fungal endocarditis; due to her comorbidities and fragility there was no chance for surgical management, because of that the patient recieved antifungal combined treatment. We achieved with this negative blood cultures and a favorable clinical evolution. In the 6 month clinical control, the patient was  still estable.
